The Dove

The Dove

Beyond the Veil

A white dove emerges from darkness, carrying the quiet promise that light still exists beyond what we can see.

This artwork was created during a period of deep meditation and self-inquiry. It wasn't planned or painted to fit a particular concept. Instead, it emerged through intuition, through the felt sense that often guides my creative process before the mind catches up with meaning.

Across many spiritual traditions, the dove is a symbol of peace, divine connection, the soul, and messages from something greater than ourselves. For me, it represents the journey of remembering who we are beneath the layers of fear, conditioning, trauma, and personal history.

The dark tones within this piece reflect the suffering and challenges we all encounter in life. Yet at its centre is a golden light, a reminder that beyond the stories we carry, beyond the noise of the mind, there is a stillness that remains untouched.

A place of peace.

A place of connection.

A place we can return to again and again.

This artwork speaks to the idea that our deepest nature is not the darkness we experience, but the light we discover through it. It is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember the quiet presence that has always been there beneath the surface.
