Artist Statement

This piece was created from a place of stillness and deep presence. Using layers of Indian ink spray paint charcoal and glazing I worked to express something more than a portrait. I wanted to give form to a feeling a sense of quiet divinity that emerges when the mind becomes still and the creative process takes over.

Art for me is a doorway into something higher. With every glaze and textured mark I felt that connection grow stronger as if the divine were moving through the work itself. Creating this painting felt like translating an inner truth into a living form something that could be shared and experienced by others.

My hope is that this artwork brings the same sense of grounding reflection and emotional clarity to the person who welcomes it into their home. It is a reminder of presence of breath of connection to something larger than ourselves.
